On June 13th, we held our first-ever Write Club event at NarraScope in Albany, New York. Approximately fifty writers piled into the City Line Bar & Grill for a chance at glory, and we were completely blown away by this turnout.
The night began with the formal presenation of the SIG’s inaugural lifetime achievement award to the incredible Richard Dansky.

Afterwards, we held our traditional Write Club writing contest, hosted by longtime Write Club MC C.J. Kershner. Four amazing winners were selected, much fun was had by all, and we’d like to sincerely thank every attendee as well as the volunteer judging panel that evaluated many contestants for helping make this an unforgettable experience.
